Topic: Sera Monastery
In April, 2007 I travelled to Nepal and Tibet for the first time, but it definitely won't be the last. The mountain scenery has to be seen to be believed, and it is almost impossible to take a bad photo.
But it wasn't just a holiday, as I was on the lookout for new products to put on our "Lanna Charm" website. As we specialize in handwoven fabrics and handcrafted handbags etc, I thought Nepal and Tibet would be happy hunting grounds, and I was not disappointed.
While I was in Lhasa I visited the Sera Monastery, which is about 5 km north of Lhasa. This is a "must see" if you go to Lhasa. I won't write too much about it, because a picture is worth a thousand words, and I have a few images to share with you, but if you would like more information on the Sera Monastery, please check out the excellent Wikipedia
Here are some of the photos I took in and around the Sera Monastery.
